The two minutes of grooming nobody talks about

You know the part. The brushing is fine — your dog leans into it, your cat tolerates it, the fur comes away. Then you're standing over the bin, digging your fingernails into a wall of wire pins, trying to peel off a grey mat that won't let go. Half of it ends up on the floor. Some of it ends up on you.

SelfClean Pro™ ends that part. Press the button on the back of the handle and the pins retract flat into the pad, lifting the whole mat clear in one piece. Tip it into the bin, click the pins back out, carry on. Two seconds, no fingers, no mess.

  • One-Click Release

Press once. The pins retract, the fur lifts off whole, straight in the bin.

  • Rounded, Bent Pins

Coated, rounded tips reach the undercoat without dragging on skin. Safe for nervous cats.

  • Built To Last

Reinforced pin bed. Most cheap self-cleaning brushes jam or bend within months. This one doesn't.

  • Every Coat, Every Pet

Short, long, double or curly. Dogs, cats, rabbits. One brush for the whole household.

Why SelfClean Pro™ beats a £6 slicker

Most self-cleaning brushes are an ordinary slicker with a button glued on the back. Here's the difference you start to feel by week three.

Rounded, coated tips that won't scratch skin

Questions owners ask before buying

Will it hurt my pet's skin?

No. The pins are angled with coated, rounded tips designed to move through the coat rather than press into skin. Use light pressure and brush in the direction the fur grows — the brush should be doing the work, not your arm.

Does it work on double coats?

Yes, and it's where you'll see the most dramatic results. Huskies, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies. Work in short sections and clear the pad often — you'll be surprised how fast it fills.

Can I use it on my cat?

Yes. Cats usually prefer it to a standard slicker because the tips are rounded rather than sharp. Regular brushing also means less loose fur swallowed during self-grooming, which tends to mean fewer hairballs.

What about serious mats?

Loosen a mat with your fingers or a dematting comb first, then brush it out. Don't force the brush through a compacted mat — that's what bends pins on every brush in this category, including this one.

How do I clean the brush itself?

Press the button, tip the fur into the bin, click the pins back out. That's it. Every few weeks, rinse the pad in warm water and let it air dry fully before storing.

How often should I use it?

Two or three times a week is plenty for most pets, and daily during spring and autumn shedding seasons. Ten minutes regularly beats a forty-minute battle once a month.

How long is delivery?

Free UK delivery, typically 5–12 working days. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.

What if my pet doesn't like it?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. Just email us and we'll sort it out — no interrogation, no restocking fee.
